PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS
Miner's Candle - Short Film
From filmmaker, Manuela Schneider, Miner's Candle, is based on a song from my Mile After Mile album. I play a singer in a circa 1880's saloon. The film has won numerous awards from several film festivals including the prestigious Barcelona International Film Festival in Spain and the Red Carpet Award Show in Holland.

The Red Carpet Award Show - Almelo, The Netherlands
The highlight of August 23 was attending and performing at the Red Carpet Award Show in the Netherlands. To top it off, I won a Best Song Award for my cover of Long, Long Time.
Willow Tree Festival - Gordon, Nebraska
South Dakota and Wyoming Tours
Alaska Tours
With Soldotna as my base, I perform at festivals and venues across the Kenai Peninsula and beyond. Salmonfest--the largest outdoor music festival in Alaska--has been a highlight. Great times performing, making friends, visiting with family, and, of course, salmon fishing!

Black Shelton's Ole Red's, Tishomingo, Oklahoma
A very special few days performing at Ole Red's. I was joined on the stage by my nieces who drummed and sang along with me.
Earnest Tubb Midnight Jamboree - Nashville
This is the second-longest running live radio show in the World from the famous Texas Troubadour Theatre in Nashville! Thanks to Rex Allen, Jr. for the invitation, and to Stan Lawrence for accompanying me. A wonderful live audience and we went out on the airwaves and into the archives at midnight!
Native American Music Awards - Seneca-Niagara Hotel
I was so honored that my Desert Rose album was a finalist for the Native Heart Award. It was a wonderful weekend at the Seneca-Niagara Hotel & Casino. I made new friends in the Native music genre and enjoyed outstanding music.
National Old-Time Country, Bluegrass, and Folk Music Festival La Mars, Iowa
I was very honored to receive the 2018 Country & Western CD of the Year Award for my album, Desert Rose. In 2017, my Crossing Borders album received the Original Western CD of the Year Award. Thanks are extended to the Rural Roots Music Commission and Bob Everhart for his enormous efforts in organizing this week-long music gathering.
Tennessee and Georgia
These cowboy boots are made for singing and dancing! Thanks to my boot fairy, I have something to wear for every occasion!
Radio Interview - FM 94.5 K-YA-T Gallup, NM
An enjoyable radio interview for folks on the Navajo Nation - promotion of my concert in the area. A first for me--the interview was in both Navajo and English languages.
Western Writers of America - Stagecoach Script Reading
A slight deviation from music, but here I am as Mrs. Lucy Mallory in a script reading of Stagecoach at the Western Writers of America. We were under the capable direction of Emmy-winning producer and director, Kirk Ellis.
Fiddler's Dream, Phoenix
Janice Deardorff and I teamed up and took "Women of the West" on the road to Phoenix. Music is therapy and we both needed the healing it brings--I was recovering from a torn pec muscle and Janice the loss of a family member--but the show must go on and we're the better for it!
Academy of Western Artists, Fort Worth, TX
I have been honored to receive the Western Female Vocalist of the Year Award from the Academy of Western Artists on two occasions, and in 2022 I received the Western Album of the Year Award for Mile After Mile. Thank you to the DJs who play my music and supported my nominations.
Flagstaff AZ Country FM 93.5/AM 930 KAFF Radio
DJ Peter Bruce has been a strong supporter of my music which he plays on "Under the Western Skies." Every time I'm in Flagstaff, AZ Peter and I have a live radio chat.
San Carlos Apache Reservation, Peridot, AZ
It was a privilege to provide music at this Memorial Rodeo held by my good friends the Preston's who lost their son the previous year. "Chuck" was well-known in the team roping circles as well as an accomplished artist and traditional dancer. My Vision Across the Range album includes a song I wrote in his honor called "Roger Dale" which was Chuck's given name. The photo is with my friend Rick Uhl who accompanied me on guitar.
